Soulforce goes to Willow Creek

Later, I will write and speak at greater length about my participation in this weekend’s Soulforce dialogue at Willow Creek Community Church but I did want to link to the Chicago Tribune story. It was an incredibly moving weekend and, I think, a testament to the power of the Holy Spirit to move people of good will in a common direction. We found important common ground with the church leadership and look forward to continuing our dialogue in the future. Also, Jay Bakker–son of Jim and Tammy Faye–is just about as nice as he could be. I loved his mama and I love him too!
