Update on zoning hearing
June 21, 2007
The zoning commission hearing on the proposed transitional living center in Andersonville was originally scheduled for June 26th but has been pushed back between the dates of 6/27-7/18. I spoke with Alderwoman Schiller’s Chief of Staff this morning and he will contact me when they agree on a date for the hearing. It is so critical that we get as many people as possible to come to this meeting and stand with these folks who are trying to make positive changes in their lives. Please, respond to this post or email me if you have any other questions. Peace!

Lemme know when it is. If I’m in town, I’ll be there.

Matt: I feel a lot of things about your post. One of those feelings is not surprise. I will def. come to the meeting if I am not flying, and I want to thank you for you very practical engagement with this important issue. Reading Karl Barth and your comments here simply teaches me that if we place our trust in the Democrats or our fellow-”gays” we will be radically disappointed and left with nothing but despair.
